Northern Westchester Businessman, Accomplice Sentenced For $15K 'Scan And Skip' Scheme
A Northern Westchester businessman and former public official has been sentenced for running a "scan and skip" scheme with an accomplice that net them nearly $15,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot, authorities announced.

ID Released For Woman Killed In Three-Car Northern Westchester Crash
A woman who was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester has been identified.
Gabrielle Long, 70, of Mohegan Lake, was killed around 6:05 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28 on Route 202 (Crompond Road) in Yorktown, just west of Garden Lane, said Yorktown Police Lt. John Delulio.
Another driver, a 64-year-old resident of Irvington, was transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the third driver, 27, from Peekskill, refused medical attention at the scene, Delulio said.
The crash is under investigation.
