Three Serious Crashes Occur In Peekskill In 24-Hour Span While most of the country was spending Memorial Day Weekend celebrating the holiday, first responders in Peekskill were busy, responding to several serious accidents in a 24-hour span. Members of the Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps. and Cortlandt-Peekskill Regional Paramedics and Peekskill Fire Department were dispatched to Welcher Avenue at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 25, where there was a report of a rollover crash.
