Support Swells For Family Of Northern Westchester Man Killed By Train: Leaves Behind 2 Kids
A community is coming together to help the family of a man killed by a train in Northern Westchester, who leaves behind two children and a third on the way.
According to MTA officials, Peekskill resident Marcos Preciado, age 37, was killed on Monday night, May 8 after he was struck by an Amtrak train around 8:40 p.m. on the Hudson Line near Cortlandt station.

Former Van Cortlandtville School Teacher Helen DeMaria Millicker Dies
Helen DeMaria Millicker of Cortlandt Manor died on Oct. 5.
She was born in Peekskill on July 26, 1934 to Michael and Helen Pisani DeMaria and graduated from the Assumption School and Peekskill High School, Class of 1952, as well as SUC in New Paltz in 1956. She taught in Van Cortlandtville School.
Helen married John Millicker on April 17, 1960 in the Church of the Assumption. They had four sons: John (Shannon), Glenn, Michael (Karen) and Paul (Martha).

Man, 39, Electrocuted While Removing Tree Leaves Behind Wife, Two Children
A 39-year-old man who was electrocuted while removing a tree after hitting a live power line earlier this week leaves behind a wife and two children.
John B. Nuzzolo, of Newburgh, died Monday around 9:17 a.m.while removing the tree at 29 Maple Road, in Cornwall-on-Hudson.
He was an employee of the MTA, and the Long Island Railroad, and was a former member of Local 38.
Nuzzolo is survived by his wife Syndi and his two children Aryanna and John. He was predeceased by his parents John and Bernice.
Visitation will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, on Friday, Sept, 7, from 2 p.m. …
