New Superintendent Named At School District In Westchester
After a six-week nationwide search process, a school district in Westchester has named a new superintendent who will be arriving from a district in a neighboring state. The Mamaroneck Union Free School District has named Charles B. Sampson as its next superintendent, the district's school board announced on Tuesday, June 13. A Binghamton University student from the Hudson Valley is doing his best to help those ailing during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. New Rochelle native Jacob Goodman, a junior studying mechanical engineering, was challenged by a professor to build a working ventilator.
