New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his staff reportedly drew up a letter attacking the credibility of a former aide who was the first to make claims of sexual harassment against him, according to a report released on Tuesday. The New York Times reported that Cuomo and his staff drew up a letter targeting former aide Lindsey Boylan, who was the first of seven women to come out against the governor since December. New York regions entering Phase 3 of their novel coronavirus (COVID-19) economic recovery can now entertain larger gatherings as the state continues to daily monitor their metrics. With Western New York and the Capital Region on track to join the Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, Central New York, Mohawk Valley, and North Country in Phase 3 this week, Gov. 19: School Staff Member In Westchester Tests Positive
A staff member at a Westchester school has tested positive for novel coronavirus. Bronxville Schools Superintendent Roy Montesano issued an alert to parents on Wednesday stating that a member of the staff at The Bronxville School tested positive for COVID-19. Montesano noted that the school has been closed since Friday, March 13, leaving nearly two weeks since anyone has been in group contact in the district. Tenant Protest Leads To Dozens Of Arrests At State Capitol
More than 60 housing rights protesters were arrested at the state Capitol in Albany on Tuesday, June 4. They want to extend New York City’s rent regulations to Upstate and portions of the New York City suburbs that don't have rent control. Protesters blocked the entrances to the Senate and Assembly chambers as well as Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s office.
