Rollover Crash Victim From Westchester Rescued From Car, Then Nabbed For Drunk Driving: Police Several people were nabbed on drunk driving charges in the Hudson Valley over the holiday weekend, including a Westchester woman rescued from a rolled-over car and a taxi driver, police said. The arrests were announced by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, Oct. 17, and were all made over Columbus Day weekend.  The first incident happened on Friday, Oct. 11 in Putnam Valley, when a car crashed and flipped on Church Road in the area of Kramers Pond Road.  Arriving sheriff's deputies found a vehicle on its side with downed live wires nearby. Traffic Stop Leads To DWI Charge For Woman In Patterson A traffic stop in Patterson led to DWI charges for a woman from New Fairfield, police say. Officers from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department say they observed a driver commit a series of traffic violations on Fairfield Drive and Haviland Drive in the Town of Patterson on Wednesday, May 8 around 1 a.m. Police say they initiated a traffic stop and observed that the driver, identified as 38-year-old Mellisa Gorgilone of New Fairfield, was intoxicated.
