Police Warn Of Medicare Scam Targeting Elderly In Westchester
Police are cautioning residents to be aware of fraudsters attempting to scam them as part of a Medicare scheme that has made the rounds throughout Westchester County. The Eastchester Police Department issued an alert this week regarding the scam, which includes a caller stating they are from Medicare, claiming that the homeowner is entitled to knee braces through the insurance program.
