Community Rallies Around 9-Month-Old Daughter Of Westchester Native, 47 A GoFundMe fundraising campaign has been created for the daughter of a Fairfield County businessman who hails from the Hudson Valley who suddenly passed away last week. Edward “Ted” K. Dell’Abate, a native of Pound Ridge and founder of Phaedrus Technologies in Manhattan, died on Feb. 12 after a brief battle with cancer. He most recently worked at Bridgewater Associates in Westport, Conn. In response to his death, the fundraising campaign was started for his infant daughter, Matilda, who is 9-months old.
