4 Nabbed For DWI In Hudson Valley: Wrong-Way Driving, Mailbox Damage Among Offenses, Police Say
Four people, including Westchester and Fairfield County residents, face various charges after they were caught driving while intoxicated in the Hudson Valley, police said.
The arrests all happened in Putnam County over both Saturday, Aug. 19, and Sunday, Aug. 20, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

A total of five suspects, including four adolescent juveniles and a Fairfield County man, face charges in connection with a string of shooting incidents in Westchester, one of which left a 19-year-old victim dead.

A math coach at a Connecticut school has been charged with strangulation after allegedly using a chokehold on an elementary student in Fairfield County until the child became unconscious.

Police are asking the public for help locating a missing, endangered teenager from Northern Fairfield County.
Heidi Logan-Sorenson, age 16, of Danbury, was reported missing on Friday, Aug. 19, said the Connecticut State Police.
Heidi, who also goes by the name "Lee Logan," is described as being 5-foot-2, 110 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Police, who have issued a Silver Alert, say she may have shaved her hair and be wearing a hat or hoodie.
