Seen Him? Statewide Alert Issued For Wanted New York Man
Have you seen him? A statewide alert has been issued for a man wanted by authorities in New York. State Police are asking for the public’s help locating 29-year-old Anthony Masi after an assault in Oneonta. A preliminary investigation determined a victim was attacked by Masi with a machete-type knife during an argument at a Budget Inn. Woman Accused Of Leaving Newborn In Hotel Toilet Enters Plea
A woman who allegedly left her baby for dead in a motel room toilet pleaded not guilty to attempted murder charges. Teresa Rose Smith, 23, entered her plea Friday before Orange County Court Judge Craig Stephen Brown on an indictment charging her with attempted murder, assault, abandonment of a child, reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Woman Faces Attempted Murder, Others Charges After Leaving Baby In Hotel Toilet, Police Say
A month after a newborn was found floating in a hotel room toilet in a pool of blood, the baby boy is doing "very well." "It's really the bright side of this story," said Town of Newburgh Police Lt. James Nenni. The story of the baby started around 10 a.m. on Nov. 1, when police received a call from an employee at the Budget Inn on Route 9W who found blood covering the room after entering to clean. Sgt.
