Trapped Driver Rescued After Crashing Car Into House In Hudson Valley
A person had to be rescued after crashing into a Hudson Valley home and becoming trapped inside, officials said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, Nov. 29 around 12:30 p.m., when a vehicle careened into a home in Brewster, according to the Carmel Fire Department. Arriving firefighters soon found that a sedan had crashed into the home on Carmel Avenue, injuring the driver and causing them to become trapped inside their car. Authorities are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck a victim near a Hudson Valley train station, leaving them severely injured. The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Sept. 24 between 1:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. in Brewster, when a pedestrian was hit by a dark-colored sport utility vehicle traveling north on Railroad Avenue, according to New York State Police.
