Hudson Valley Man Faces DWI Charge After Crossing Double-Yellow Line, Authorities Say A 37-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley. A deputy saw a vehicle that crossed over the yellow lines and was not maintaining its lane of traffic in Southeast at about 12:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, the Putnam County Sheriff's Department reported. The deputy observed signs of alcohol impairment when speaking to the driver, identified as Brandon Tompkins, of Southeast, authorities said. Erratic Driving Stop Leads To DWI Charge For Northern Westchester Man A man from Northern Westchester is facing DWI charges after he was pulled over for driving erratically, police say. Yorktown Police responded to a report of an erratic driver on Crompond Road (Route 202) on Friday, Nov. 22 around 9:30 p.m. The vehicle was located, and further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Ravinder Nagpaul, 67, of Mohegan Lake, was driving while intoxicated, police say.
