Teens, Young Adults Targeted By Fake Check Scam: Suspect At Large In Westchester, Police Say Authorities in Westchester are searching for a suspect who has been asking teenagers and young adults to cash fake checks for him as a way to get them to send him large amounts of money, officials said.  The search was prompted by two incidents that happened in the village of Larchmont at a Chase Bank located at 125 Chatsworth Ave., village officials said on Monday, April 24.  The two incidents involved a suspect approaching female teenagers and asking them to cash a fake check for him, claiming that he cannot cash the check against his account.  The man would then offe…

Craigslist Scam Warning Issued By Police Police are cautioning area residents of a scam making the rounds involving Craigslist.
