Pace's Pjura Earns Player of The Week Honors

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Both the Northeast-10 Conference and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers’ Association named Pace’s James Pjura as Player of the Week. He earned honors from the latter for the East Region.

Pjura batted .778 in two games last week with three doubles, four RBI and four runs scored in the Setters’ two wins over Mercy. He was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI in a 10-0 win on Friday and 4-for-5 with three doubles, three RBI and two runs scored on Saturday.

He is batting .500 (8-for-16) so far this season with three doubles, five RBI and five runs scored.
