PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. Pace University Director of Athletics Mark Brown named Shannel Lewis as the schools new Spirit Squad Coordinator effective immediately.
Lewis will lead the Cheerleading squad at Pace and will direct both the Cheer and Dance teams. She worked previously as a sports specialist at ESF camps in Greenwich, Conn., where she currently lives, and teaches fitness classes at several fitness centers throughout the tri-state area.
Lewis cheered for her high school and coached the seventh graders at Convent of Sacred Heart to a 9-1 season. She graduated from University of Nevada-Las Vegas in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.
