Pace Lacrosse Falls to No. 6 Adelphi University

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – In men’s lacrosse action, sixth-ranked Adelphi University dropped Pace, 10-2, in a Northeast-10 Conference battle on Tuesday. Pace is now 4-5 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

The Panthers took a 6-0 lead at halftime and scored once more in the third quarter before the Setters finally got on the board with a Matt Mirabito goal, with 8:59 to play in the quarter. Mike Ruppert had the assist on the goal. The two players reversed roles on Pace’s second and final goal at the 5:33 mark.

Kevin Grady had 12 saves for the Setters and played all 60 minutes.

Pace will take the field again Saturday at 1 p.m. at Saint Michael’s College for a conference matchup.
