BRAIRFLIFF, N.Y. -- Briarcliff High School students had an opportunity to sit down recently with Sam Chalsen, class of ’08 as the accomplished alumnus and Harvard University graduate spoke about his work as a screenwriter for the Fox television series “Sleepy Hollow.”
Chalsen worked with the Introduction to Film, Future Filmmakers and Introduction to Theater classes during his visit in December, offering the school’s aspiring writers tips for writing for the screen and stage. Students asked him questions about his career and education.
The visit marked Chalsen’s second to the school. He credits his teachers and the opportunities at te school for encouraging him to explore his passion for writing.
