BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff Manor Board of Education will hold open forums to hear from community members about the type of leader they would like to see as the school district’s next assistant superintendent of finance.
Parents, retirees, homeowners, business owners, longtime residents and recent arrivals are invited to attend the meetings, which will be held Thursday 9 and 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Briarcliff Middle School theater.
“The finance role is a very important one for the district as it moves forward,” said Superintendent James Kaishian. “For this reason, we would like to involve the community as much as possible in determining the qualities and characteristics the district is seeking in a successful candidate.”
The district has asked Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES to conduct a search of the most qualified candidates.
