BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Students of all ages from the Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District recently collected toys to benefit the Ossining Children’s Center.
“We have some members who volunteer at the Ossining Children’s Center who suggested that our toy drive benefit them, as they are constantly in need of new toys for their students,” Karen McCarthy, advisEr of Briarcliff High School’s American Red Cross Club, said in a press release.
Todd Elementary School students, along with Briarcliff Middle School students, also participated in the drive.
The result yielded 100 toys for the Ossining Children’s Center.
“The district-wide initiative started out as a small seed and blossomed into a beautiful giving tree that benefits a very worthy neighboring organization,” McCarthy said.
