The Future City Competition is a national program for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students, sponsored locally by the American Society of Civil Engineers Metropolitan Section. This year's competition focused on urban farming.
Club members pursue their interests in technology and engineering, while meeting and competing against similarly interested students in the region.
Team members Ben Harris, Josh Ross, Nick Sama, Max Hertz and Caleb Schumacher won for their model city, “Goatlantis.” Jodi Shearer is the club's adviser.
