BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- In an effort to raise awareness and combat local hunger, Briarcliff High School’s Food for Friends group collected donations to bring to the Elmsford-based Food Bank for Westchester in time for the holidays.
Co-Presidents Lauren Ballini and Komal Keerthy headed up the food drive at Briarcliff High, with the help of advisers Annmarie O’Brien and Michael Muranelli.
The drive collected 406 pounds of food for the Food Bank for Westchester.
