BHS was ranked 31st in the state, good for eighth-best in Westchester County.
Briarcliff's student population of 558 exceeded the state average in all of the surveys major metrics, which included: College readiness, mathematics proficiency and English proficiency. The school also boasts an Advanced Placement participation rate of 74 percent.

The top ranked high school in New York was The High School of American Studies in the Bronx.
