Briarcliff Academic Challenge Team Earns Second First-Place Finish

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Briarcliff High School’s Academic Challenge “A” team continues to perform well throughout the region.

“A” team is continuing its tradition of success by earning a first-place win for the second time this school year. The team competed at White Plains High School on Jan. 31. Team members included Ryan Klarnet (captain), Alex Jacobs, Feroze Mohideen and Karthik Rao. 

In addition to the first-place team win, three team members currently hold three of the top seven overall points-scored positions: Klarnet, Mohideen and Sophie Underwood. Briarcliff High School is the only competing school to have multiple players in the top 10 individual positions.
