Robert Durst's Former Westchester Lake-Side Home Up For Sale

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. — A cottage in Lewisboro once belonging to notorious alleged murderer Robert Durst is on the market, streeteasy.com reports. It's located at Truesdale Lake in South Salem, a hamlet in Lewisboro.

Durst, 72, was jailed in March on murder charges after the HBO miniseries “The Jinx” aired chronicling his connection—and admittance—to three murders, the article says. The jailed Manhattan real estate heir was first questioned by police in connection with the 1982 disappearance of his wife Kathleen from that home.

The house is located at 62 Hoyt St. in South Salem, and is listed for $1.1 million, according the the article.
