BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. Joseph "Jerry" A. Manganello Jr. of Briarcliff Manor died Aug. 5. He was 76.
Born in White Plains, Manganello lived in Briarcliff Manor with his wife, Louise, for more than 40 years. He was the former chief credit officer of Bankers Trust Company and Bankers Trust Corporation, where he worked for 39 years.
Manganello graduated from Cornell University in 1957 and attended New York University Graduate School of Business. He completed officer training school and served in both active and reserve duty as a Green Beret.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; three sons, David (Elaine), Jeffrey (Patricia) and Brad (Lisa); two brothers, Jon and Ed; a sister, Vicki; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Waterbury and Kelly Funeral Home in Briarcliff Manor. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Ossining Open Door Medical Center or the Ossining Children's Center.
