BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Eileen O'Connor Weber, a lifelong Briarcliff Manor resident, died Dec. 30 at her home. She was 94.

Margaret Eileen O'Connor was born June 14, 1918, in Ossining to Daniel J. and Lillian MacDonald O'Connor. She attended Briarcliff schools, graduated from Briarcliff High School and spent two years at Edgewood Park School.

Weber worked at Young and Rubicam for 12 years, where she rose to head of human resources. In 1952, she began her career in real estate, eventually becoming locally famous for her unique flair, outgoing personality and her vast collection of hats, her family said.

In 1954, she founded Weber-Tufts Real Estate with Betty Tufts in Briarcliff, where she remained until 1992. She continued to sell real estate for Houlihan Lawrence until her retirement at age 87.

Weber was a member of Sleepy Hollow Country Club, where she was an avid golfer and bridge player. She was a lifelong member of St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff, where she was active in fundraising campaigns.

She was a founding member and past president of The Briarcliff Manor-Scarborough Historical Society. She was previously honored by the Briarcliff Manor Education Foundation and was inducted into the Briarcliff High School Hall of Fame.

Weber was also associated with Phelps Hospital, the Junior League and the Easter Seal Society through her charitable work.

Weber’s family said that she was known as the "historian of Briarcliff." She loved to dance and often told stories of her victories in Charleston dance contests.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Weber, a  lieutenant colonel in the Marine Corps; and two brothers, J.D. "Pete" O'Connor and James Hogan O'Connor.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday at St. Theresa’s Church. Waterbury-Kelly Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to The Briarcliff Manor-Scarborough Historical Society, P.O. Box 11, One Library Road, Lower Level, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510, or Phelps Hospice, 701 N. Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591.
