Saw Mill Corridor Development Concerns Raised

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A proposed apartment complex is the focus of concerns being raised by Greenburgh residents over the rapid development of a piece of the Saw Mill River corridor, according to a report by lohud.

That’s not the only reason they are worried; a huge, mixed-use project with an inn, movie theater, and stores, is just yards away, and another housing development is going up on Route 9A a few miles down the road, the lohud story said.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner says the residents’ worries about the apparent boom are valid, but the town won’t know its full effect until Rivertowns Square, the mixed-use project, is complete.
