Route 9A Shut Down After Serious Crash Near Multiplex Cinemas

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- A serious accident involving a vehicle and motorcycle has resulted in the closure of a stretch of Route 9A in both directions in Hawthorne Saturday.

Injuries have been reported as a result of the crash, which occurred around 5 p.m.

The closure, in front of Oriental Diner and the All Westchester Saw Mill Multiplex Cinemas, is expected to continue as an investigation of the crash continues.
