NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- A stretch of Route 133 on the New Castle/Ossining border has reopened in both directions late Wednesday morning after an accident in which a utility pole went down late Monday afternoon blocked the road for nearly two full days.
Repair crews from Con Ed and Verizon worked at the scene to make necessary repairs.
The closure was between Route 9A and Route 100.
