Ragamuffin Parade Set For Saturday In Briarcliff

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y .— Children of all ages and parents are invited to show off their Halloween costumes in a Ragamuffin Parade on Saturday.

The parade, sponsored by the Briarcliff Recreation Department and the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department, is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Parents and children should report in costume to the parking lot of the International Union of Operating Engineers at 1360 Pleasantville Rd.

The parade will proceed south along Pleasantville Road to the fire house, where there will be a comic performance by Ned Gelfars at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served after the show, and all children will receive a Halloween treat bag.

If it rains, the parade will be cancelled, but the comical show will still be held at 10 a.m. inside the fire house.
