Police: Mailbox Spree Continues in Briarcliff

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – More mailboxes were reported destroyed this week in Briarcliff Manor.

Village of Briarcliff Manor Police say there were three more reported cases of mailboxes destroyed on Feb. 11 and 12 along Whitson Road and Alder Drive. More than a dozen Briarcliff Manor residents reported their mailboxes were damaged or destroyed on Sunday, Feb. 5.

Police are continuing to ask the public for assistance with information on the mailboxes that were destroyed on Holbrook Lane, Meadow Place, Apple Lane, Central Drive West, Hollow Tree Road and Willow Drive in Briarcliff Manor. 

“There were no witnesses in any of the incidents,” said Briarcliff Manor Officer Michael Zazzini previously, confirming that there are still no suspects in the incidents reported as criminal mischief. “If anyone has any information on it, please call us.”
