How Briarcliff Planning Board Works

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – The Daily Briarcliff has begun a series called “How Your Village Works” to help explain what goes on at Briarcliff Village Hall and what you need to know. Yesterday we looked at the village board. Today we look at the planning board and Wednesday we’ll look at the zoning board.

The Briarcliff planning board consists of five regular members and one alternate member who are appointed by the board of trustees.

The planning board generally meets the last Monday of each month. Agendas are available two weeks before a meeting.

If someone has a question on an agenda before a meeting, they can contact the village clerk at 914-941-4801 or the village engineer/building inspector at 914-944-2770.

Public comment may or may not be allowed during meetings, depending on how many people are at the meeting.

Minutes of meetings are available on the village's website and in the village office. Minutes for a meeting a generally adopted at the next meeting a month later, and then put up on the website.
