GoFundMe Page For Yorktown Player Battling Cancer Surpasses Goal

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Support for a 15-year-old Yorktown High School girls lacrosse player battling Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer has come from near and far.

The goal for the GoFundMe page for Brielle Furci has now been increased from $40,000 to $60,000.

The GoFundMe page set up for Brielle Furci had raised $26,000 when Daily Voice reported on it back on Sept. 10.

It has now well surpassed its goal of $40,000 and is now at more than $54,000.

Support has come from near and far, according to LaxLessons.com, including as far away as Texas and Yorktown rivals Darien and Bronxville.
