Two men described as white males stole candy, drinks and cigarettes last week from the deli of Briarcliff Motor Fuel on North State Road, police said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, which happened June 19 at around 6:30 p.m., police said.
Also in Briarcliff:
-A Law Road resident reported that teenagers in a small, white car stopped in front of his house and took his mailbox on June 13 at around 10:36 p.m., police said.
-A black bear was seen going through garbage at Briarcliff High School on June 14 at around 7 p.m., police said. It left without incident.
-A woodchuck walked onto the lawn of a home on Pine Road on June 16 at around 2 p.m. and the homeowner had trouble getting it to leave, police said.
-A fox was reported seen in the back yard of a home on Locust Road on June 13 at around 11:10 p.m. and also on Route 100 near Deer Tree Lane on June 14 at around 2:40 p.m., police said. The animal disappeared without incident.
-A raccoon was seen in the garage of a home on Poplar Road on June 17 around 8:30 p.m., police said. It left without incident.
