Conservation Lecture Offered At Briarcliff Manor For Earth Day

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – The Briarcliff Manor Library will offer an environmental perspective program Tuesday in honor of Monday's Earth Day. 

Stu Gruskin, chief conservation and external affairs officers of The Nature Conservancy in New York, will speak at the library Tuesday, April 23, from 7 to 8 p.m.  

Gruskin will discuss how we protect and conserve our lands and waters and attempt to mitigate and adapt to climate change, the library said. He will also address the increasing demand for natural resources and talk about his organization’s global and local approach to these environmental changes.
