Briarcliff Temple Hosts Chief Rabbi Of Uganda

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – The Congregation Sons of Israel will host the only New York appearance of Rabbi Gershom Sizomu, the chief rabbi of Uganda, Nov. 22-23.

Sizomu will be at the Shabbat dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Nov. 22. He also will be at an 8 p.m. concert Saturday featuring music from Ugandan Jewish community and the world.

Tickets for the dinner are $15 for children, $22 for adults and $65 for families. Concert tickets are $20 for general admission, $10 for seniors and students, $50 for patrons, $90 for sponsors and $180 for benefactors.
