BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- When Rich Johnson of Briarcliff and Shaun Murphy came up with the idea for a new product that is the fix for sending and sharing headaches from your phone or computer, they joined up with Nick Puro also of Briarcliff and turned to Kickstarter to make it happen.
Eight hours later Johnson, who has lived in Briarcliff for 15 years, Murphy, and Puro, a 28-year resident of Briarcliff had reached their $68,000 funding goal to launch sndrBlock, with more to spare for upgrades and continued research.
Pronounced: Sender, because the sender always remains in control of his or her content. The block allows users to perform moves that they've only dreamed of before.
Want to recall and forever annihilate a message or file you sent? Just delete it and it is gone, even if it was forwarded. sndr's unique security empowers the user to cryptographically revoke the recipient's access to the files and messages in real-time. Users can even preset the time it will automatically annihilate itself. Want to make sure your message cannot be copied, printed or forwarded? Set the restrictions at the time you send it.
sndrBlock is the first hardware device operating on the sndr platform. When users send a message or file, it will be first transferred to their sndrBlock as fast as their internal network allows. From there, the device will transmit it on your behalf. Gone are the days of waiting for a huge file to upload before packing up your devices. Even 4K videos that are too large for email, text or social media can be sent with one touch over the sndr platform (they've tested it up to 5TB). Users can also command sndrBlock to share files remotely, from anywhere in the world without ever having to store files in the cloud.
Unlike other services that claim you have control or security, sndr is built on technology that is end-to-end secure. That means that only you and the people you specify will ever see your content. Small segments of the content are retained locally while the rest of the content is disbursed among cloud-based servers. This provides:
- Ludicrous speed transfers
- Terabyte-size file sharing
- Recall and annihilation of content
- Remote access and control
- Seamless security
...All in one unified platform.
