Westchester's Hometown Radio Station Wvox Goes Out Of Business: 'Big Loss'
After nearly 70 years, Westchester's hometown radio station, WVOX, has gone out of business a little over a year after the death of its owner.
The beloved New Rochelle-based station (1460 AM) discontinued all programming effective on Thursday night, Sept. 7, over a year after its owner, William O’Shaughnessy, died in late May 2022 at the age of 84.
