Beloved Mother, Volunteer Who Grew Up In Bedford Hills Dies At 57 A beloved wife and mother from Northern Westchester is being remembered for her willingness to donate her time to countless volunteer works and her devotion to her family.  Mount Kisco resident Beth Mannion died on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the age of 57 after a battle with ovarian cancer, according to her obituary.  Born in Mount Kisco in 1965, Mannion grew up in Bedford Hills and graduated from Fox Lane High School in 1983.  She then went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Westchester Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Western Connecticut…

Officer From Pound Ridge Sworn Into New Canaan Police Department Two new police officers will soon begin serving the community in one Fairfield County town, including one with ties to Northern Westchester County.  The two new hires were sworn into the New Canaan Police Department on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 10:30 a.m., according to an announcement from the department.  Now serving the department will be 22-year-old Erica Morey of Brookfield and 33-year-old Westchester County resident Nicholas Agoglia of Pound Ridge.  Morey, who graduated from Brookfield High School before earning her bachelor's degree in Justice and Law Administration from W…

She was a sixth-grade teacher at Mildred E. Strang Middle School in Yorktown.
