Dog Found With Abscesses, Infected Ears: Owner From Hudson Valley Charged, Officials Say A 33-year-old man was criminally charged after allegedly neglecting his Havanese mix puppy, who was found suffering from severe infections and abscesses in Dutchess County, officials announced.  The investigation began on Monday, Jan. 29, when the Town of East Fishkill Police contacted the Putnam County SPCA after the puppy’s owner brought the dog, named "Max," to a veterinary office in East Fishkill. Coyote Attack On Sheep Reported At Muscoot Farm County officials said a coyote may have killed a sheep at Muscoot Farm in Somers and injured two others on Thursday. The sheep were found when employees to perform morning farm chores Thursday and noticed a sheep lying in the field and two others limping, said Alexis Joondeph-Breidbart, a spokeswoman for Westchester County.
