An unlicensed man driving drunk is facing a host of charges after crashing into a Hudson Valley home, as an occupant of the residence was able to escape injury, police say.
The Rockland County incident happened around 12:50 a.m. Friday, March 31 in New City, at the residence at 9 Carnaby Ct.
The driver, Jonathan Barnes, age 37, of West Nyack drove his vehicle through two fences, before crashing into the residence, Clarkstown Police Department Detective Norman Peters said.

A woman faces charges after crashing her car into a dumpster while allegedly driving drunk on St. Patrick's Day in the Hudson Valley, police said.
On Friday, March 17, around 10:30 p.m., police in Putnam County responded to Tonianne Drive in Kent for a reported vehicle crash, according to Kent Police.
There, they found that a woman had crashed her gray Honda Accord into a dumpster container.
The woman, identified as 46-year-old Erika Rizzotto of Kent, was then asked by an officer if she had been drinking that evening, to which she replied, "yes," police said.

Numerous fire departments faced an intricate situation after a vehicle slammed into a Northern Westchester residence, damaging the structure of the building.
On Monday, Nov. 14, around 6:45 p.m., fire departments from multiple agencies responded to a residence in Mount Kisco after a car drove into the structure, severely damaging it, according to the Hartsdale Fire Department.

A Hudson Valley man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he crashed a vehicle into a utility pole, causing a fire on the road.
Officers in Rockland County responded to a fire on North Main Street in Hillcrest that broke out overnight between Friday, Nov. 18, and Saturday, Nov. 19, the Town of Ramapo Police Department reported.
Police found that a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, and a live wire caused a small fire on the roadway.
