Northern Westchester 29-Year-Old ID'd As Man Recovered From Waters Off Connecticut Coast Police have identified a man who disappeared in the waters off the Connecticut coast. The incident occurred in Fairfield around 12:10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, near Lighthouse Point and Penfield Reef. According to Sgt. Michael Stahl of the Fairfield Police Department, a 911 call was received about two individuals struggling in the water near Lighthouse Point and Penfield Reef.  Stahl said several nearby bystanders assisted in rescuing one of the men. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For String Of Burglaries In Multiple States, Police Say A New York man driving a truck with a stolen license plate wanted for its involvement in numerous alleged burglaries in surrounding states was nabbed after a short chase in Connecticut. Westchester Duo Attempted To Use Fake Credit Cards At Fairfield County Stores, Police Say Two 30-something Westchester County men who were allegedly using stolen credit cards at the Trumbull Mall were arrested after they fled from police in a short foot pursuit.  Elijah McNair, 35, and David Raysor, 31, both of Mount Vernon, were arrested Monday, May 13, attempting to make illegal purchases at several stores by allegedly using fraudulent credit cards when Trumbull Police were alerted to their suspicious activity by a store employee, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.
