Eight Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops Nearly three dozen area residents were arrested by New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley. Local residents charged include:  Westchester County On Friday, Dec. 20, State Police from Brewster arrested Michael A. Verella, 44, of Somers, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.
