Female Passenger Strikes Officer After Driver Charged With DWI In Route 22 Stop, Police Say A woman from Danbury became combative during a traffic stop on Route 22, allegedly striking a Putnam County Sheriff’s Sergeant attempting to take her into custody. A Sheriff’s Deputy stopped Danbury resident Ronald Rodas-Loor, 22, shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19 on Route 22 in Southeast, when he was spotted committing a violation. During the stop, while speaking with Rodas-Loor, it was determined that he was allegedly intoxicated and he was arrested. Rodas-Loor was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content greater than .08 …
