Man Uses Knife To Steal Food At Northern Westchester Supermarket, Police Say A 41-year-old man is behind bars after he used a knife to steal food at a supermarket in Northern Westchester, state police said. State Police responded to the Super Foodtown Supermarket on Albany Post Road in the town of Cortlandt for a report of a robbery on Thursday, Sept. 27 at about 2:45 p.m. An investigation found that Cortlandt resident Robert Patterson used a knife to forcibly steal food from the supermarket, state police said.
