Girl Hospitalized After Fight Near High School In Westchester, Suspect In Custody
A suspect was taken into custody in connection with a fight near a Westchester high school that left a girl hospitalized. The incident happened on Thursday, Nov. 21 at around 5 p.m., when a young girl was found with a cut to her hand in Yonkers near the intersection of Warburton Avenue and John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive, down the street from Riverside High School, according to Yonkers Police Sergeant Robert Spink. Football fans in Yonkers are getting excited as the newly merged Yonkers Police and Fire Departments football teams have kicked off their inaugural season as schools open.
