House Fire Causes Heavy Damage In Area Fire and EMS battled a large house fire overnight that heavily damaged the home in the area. Mahopac Falls Fire and EMS were dispatched around 3:25 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23 to a home at 72 Mexico Lane, in Mahopac, said Jack Casey, public information officer for Mahopac Falls VFD. First arriving units confirmed a working fire and requested all equipment from both stations respond to the incident.
