A 44-year-old woman will spend nearly a decade behind bars after she and a co-conspirator followed a woman home from a Westchester grocery store, pulled a gun on her and robbed her. Mirabai Sheridan, of the Bronx, was sentenced to eight years in state prison after pleading guilty to first-degree robbery and conspiracy dating back to a push-in robbery at a New Castle home last year with the help of Philip Budin, who allegedly acted as a getaway driver. A man and woman who followed a woman home from a Westchester grocery store before pulling a gun on her and robbing her are facing a host of charges after being busted attempting to make a second heist. Mirabai Sheridan, of the Bronx and New York City resident Philip Budin has been indicted and arraigned on charges related to a Chappaqua home invasion in October last year, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Thursday. A 43-year-old woman has been sent to jail without bail after being apprehended in connection with a home invasion that occurred in broad daylight late October in Northern Westchester. The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at a home on Pond Hill Road in Chappaqua, when the suspect entered an occupied home with what appeared to be a firearm and forcibly stole property, New Castle Police said.
