Westchester Man Busted For Second DWI In Six Years An allegedly drunk driver attempted to flee the scene of an early morning crash over the weekend before ultimately being apprehended by police in Westchester. An officer from the Scarsdale Police Department on patrol shortly after 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2 received notification of a multi-car crash near the intersection of Meadow Road and Hutchinson Avenue, with at least one vehicle’s airbags being deployed. Crash Causes Lengthy Delays On Hutch This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of the Hutchinson River Parkway late Saturday morning following a serious crash. The crash, on the northbound side, occurred at North Street/Route 127 (Exit 25) in Harrison. Delays stretched back to Pinebrook Boulevard in New Rochelle before the crash was cleared by 11 a.m.

Driver In Fatal Fiery Westchester Crash Charged With DWI A New Rochelle man has been charged with DWI in the fatal crash that killed his passenger on Saturday. Alan Roth, 63, who was also injured in the crash, was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated, said New Rochelle Police Capt. ID Released For Man Killed In Fiery Westchester One-Car Crash A New Rochelle man who died in a fiery car crash over the weekend has been identified. Robert Hopkins, 49, a passenger in a car that hit a utility pole and caught fire around 10 p.m. Saturday on Pinebrook Boulevard, died at the scene. Hopkins, who attended Archbishop Stepinac High School and Iona College, worked as a vice president and senior project executive for American Express and IBM.
