Fatal Crash: Hudson Valley Man Hit, Killed By Pickup Truck, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was hit and killed by a pickup truck while walking along a busy roadway. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 on New Hackensack Road (Route 376), east of Boardman Road in the town of Poughkeepsie.  According to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police, a 2018 Ford F-150, being driven by a 72-year-old Poughkeepsie man, struck a 57-year-old Poughkeepsie man. Person Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Northern Westchester A person was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Monday, Feb. 13 around 3:15 p.m., when police in Peekskill responded to the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Depew Street, where a car had hit the pedestrian, Lieutenant Adam Renwick said.  The pedestrian was then taken to Westchester Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle was issued multiple tickets following the incident, Renwick said.  Members of the local community organization Peekskill Walks commented on the incide…

Troopers in Orange County responded to Neversink Drive in Deerpark at about 9:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, for a report that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, New York State Police said. Man Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Northern Westchester Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash in Northern Westchester. It happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, on Crompond Road and Lafayette Avenue in the town of Cortlandt. When police arrrived, Peekskill Emergency Medical Services was already on scene rendering aid to the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle and transported to Hudson Valley Hospital, state police said.  The man later identified as Edwin G. Teen Rushed To Westchester Medical Center Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle, Police Say A Hudson Valley teenager was struck and killed when he stepped onto the roadway in front of a vehicle, according to authorities. The incident took place in Orange County around 9:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 10, on Forest Road in Kiryas Joel, New York State Trooper Steven Nevel said.  An initial investigation indicates, Michael Gestetner, age 18, of Brooklyn, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse southbound on Forest Road when Aaron Freeman, age 16, of Monroe, abruptly entered the roadway and was struck by the vehicle, Nevel said.  Freeman was transported by ambulance to Westchest…
